Contemporary Conservatories
Some people are wondering what exactly is an ‘Orangery’? The orangeries we sell at Conservatory Outlet appear quite like contemporary, Modern Conservatories.
One of the main feature of our Orangeries is that we utilise the brickwork and/or stone columns within the design, so that you don’t need the uPVC conservatory bay pole or corner posts you would normally find with a Conservatory.
We tend to fit internal lighting with downlighters which creates a great look to the inside of the orangery and helps sets it apart from a more traditional conservatory. A way to describe the difference in brief is the following – an orangery feels more like a glass extension or sunroom with a combination of glazed frames and walls. We normally install a glass roof (or polycarbonate if requested), creating a very light space. On our orangeries and there are a range of Double Glazing options available.
